Software Projects, etc.
I have been known to throw some code around from time to time. Back in the day, I was quite proficient in C, Ruby, Python, and PHP. I also dabbled in tons of others. Below are some projects written by me and some others by my friends. Also listed are some projects that aren’t software projects, but projects nonetheless.
GStage
[ author: sycobuny // version: in development ]
GStage is a Perl implementation of the Global Stage IRCd as used on irc.scifi.com. The implementation includes all of the quirks, bugs, and exploits known at the time the server was taken offline.
Shrike IRC Services
[ author: rakaur // version: 1.01 ]
Shrike is a set of Undernet-style IRC services for TS networks that I wrote in the early days of the Malkier IRC Network. They’re written in C, and pretty stable/fast/bug free. I don’t really maintain them anymore because they do what I want and no one else uses them anyway.
Ruby XMPP Server
[ author: rakaur // version: unreleased ]
This was started as a side project when I got into XMPP/Jabber. I stopped working on it and I don’t have the time to finish it right now. I hope to start work on it during summer 2008.
